At IAM Carbonzero<\/a>, we have made a firm commitment to sustainability, environmental respect, and the dissemination of natural values that are part of our identity. For this reason, we are proud to be sponsors of the documentary<\/strong> “Do\u00f1ana, Where Water is Sacred”<\/em>, a work that is much more than an audiovisual production: it is a call to collective consciousness to protect one of Europe’s most important natural treasures. <\/p>

This documentary, promoted by Wanda Natura<\/strong><\/a>, is the result of more than two years of fieldwork in the Do\u00f1ana Natural Area<\/strong>, one of the continent’s most biodiverse regions, and a symbol of our country’s natural and cultural richness. Do\u00f1ana, with its more than 120,000 hectares of marshes, shifting dunes, forests, and pine groves, constitutes Europe’s largest wetland and a vital refuge for hundreds of species, many of them unique or endangered. <\/p>

Under the direction of Carmen Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong> and produced by Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Morales<\/strong>, the project features a top-tier technical and artistic team, comprising key figures in Spanish nature cinema such as Joaqu\u00edn Guti\u00e9rrez Acha<\/strong>, Carlos de Hita<\/strong>, and Victoria de la Vega<\/strong>. Their work on films like Guadalquivir<\/em>, Cant\u00e1brico<\/em>, and Dehesa<\/em> has been widely recognized for its ability to transform nature into an unforgettable sensory experience. <\/p>

Our collaboration in this project not only responds to a desire for cultural support but also to the urgent need to highlight the challenges facing Do\u00f1ana<\/strong>: drought, overexploitation of aquifers, habitat loss, human pressure. All of this endangers an ecosystem that is not only key to environmental balance but also a symbol of identity and memory for thousands of people. <\/p>

“Do\u00f1ana, Where Water is Sacred”<\/em> combines the beauty of ultra-high-definition images with an emotional narrative that highlights the coexistence between humans and nature, through stories that convey emotion, tenderness, and wonder. The soundtrack, created by a Spanish composer linked to Hans Zimmer’s studio, and Carlos de Hita’s natural soundscape, complete a unique cinematic experience. <\/p>

For us, sponsoring this documentary means committing to a development model that understands sustainability as a central pillar for the future<\/strong>, and to a way of communicating that moves, educates, and inspires.
