What We Do
At IAM Carbonzero, we handle the entire project development
Our mission is to work from the outset with producers, farmers, livestock operators, processing industries, waste management companies, and the agri-food industry in developing our potential in the primary sector with a set of solutions that ultimately materialize in:
- Promotion and Development
- Engineering
- Permitting
- Financing
- Construction
- O&M
- Administrative and corporate management
- Sale of energy and by-products such as digestate in the form of biofertilizer
Benefits of a
BIOMETHANE plant:
Promotion of the circular economy
Decarbonization and EU Energy Transition
Energy Independence
Reduction of greenhouse gases (GHG)
Aquifer Regeneration
Agricultural soil regeneration
Improves air quality
Ecosystem Regeneration
Revitalization of rural areas
Local economic impact
Job Creation
Social innovation
IAM CARBONZERO and the
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Our most relevant SDGs, to which we contribute directly:

Affordable and clean energy: We produce biomethane from organic waste, offering a renewable, local, and sustainable energy source that can be injected into the existing gas grid or used in distributed form (LNG, CNG, etc.)

Responsible production and consumption: Biomethane is the paradigm of the circular economy. We assist in the management of agricultural and livestock waste and transform waste into resources, closing the production cycle through digestate valorization and reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers

Industry, innovation, and infrastructure. Biomethane plants are an essential vector for the development of rural areas, promoting sustainable production and facilitating innovation in rural areas and surrounding businesses. This ensures long-term economic and social development with quality employment

Decent work and economic growth. Biomethane plants create quality jobs directly and indirectly for more than 25 years, and we always prioritize local employment. Additionally, taxes in local municipalities drive improvements in citizens' quality of life. Economic growth is decoupled from environmental degradation.
